2018 Caterham Academy car (125bhp)

About this car

This Caterham competed in the Caterham Academy in 2018 and was then upgraded to Roadsport specification but not raced again. This car has done very few miles on track and was previously used as a practice car for the 2026 Caterham Academy but only went to 4 track days. The car has been looked after by ourselves and DPR Motorsport and will be supplied to the new owner in Academy specification. This includes the current Toyo CF2 tyres (not currently fitted).

The car will be freshly serviced ahead of new ownership and has the Caterham engine seals intact. For anyone thinking of racing with the Caterham Motorsport Championship or Caterham Graduates Club, this car can be upgraded to 270R (Sigma 135) or 310R (Sigma 150) specification. For a small cost the car can be upgraded to 135bhp (ECU re-flash and spark plugs).

The full specification includes:

• Ford Sigma VCT engine with 125bhp
• Mazda 5 speed gearbox (new 4 track days ago)
• BMW differential with 3.91 CWP
• Narrow track
• Height adjustable dampers
• Quick release steering wheel
• Lowered floors
• Tillett seats with driver and passenger harness (Schroth/HANS compatible harness on drivers side)
• Full cage and right hand side intrusion bar
• Aero filler cap
• Apollo wheels with Avon ZZS tyres
• Black pack and weather equipment including full hood

The car is in very good condition with only minor blemishes and stone chips. As with all of our sale cars, this car will come freshly serviced via our rigorous pre-sale inspection, with 3 months warranty and 12 months MOT.
