2008 Caterham Supersport (150bhp)

About this car

This car is well known to PT having been purchased by us and then painted and sold on. The new owner used PT exclusively for all maintenance and upgrades with no regard to cost and with all invoices to show prospective buyers. The owner is only selling as he has made the decision to go racing and has already purchased his 310R race car.

The car was steadily upgraded and improved throughout the last owners time with the car creating a great looking car with a nigh on perfect entry level specification for road or track.

The full specification includes:

• 1.6 Rover K series engine with forged piston, Jenvery TB’s and Emerald ECU
• Ford Type 9 5 speed gearbox
• Ford differential with recent Titan LSD (sintered plates). 3.9CWP
• Minilite alloys freshly powdercoated in gold with good condition Toyo R888R tyres
• Black pack
• Tillett seats with driver and passenger harness
• Track day roll cahe (no cant bars)
• Full weather equipment
• 280mm Momo steering wheel
• Bilstein dampers (narrow track)

This car has recently been mapped by Steve Greenauld who commented that a simple cam and injector upgrade would see a lot more power.

As with all of our sale cars this car will be sold on with 12 months MOT and 3 months warranty. We are always happy to share the results of the pre-sale inspections and the work we have undertaken to get the car mechanically sound.

The above is only part of the story of this car and we are happy to share the full story and all the recent work with interested parties. If you would like to view this car or know more please call or email us any time.
